‍As an HR professional, you are in a unique position to influence and shape policy. It’s important to set the example. You talk the talk and you should walk the talk. If you expect something from your team, then you yourself must be willing to do it. If your municipality as a whole expects its employees to behave and control their conduct in a certain way then as an HR professional, you must abide by these rules and encourage others to do the same.
